Wash your garment in the hottest water possible according to the care label. The baking sodaborax takes out the grease from the fabric without actually harming the tissue. These powders will work by absorbing the grease and all you need to do is brush off the excess afterwards.

Slightly dampen the affected area with water and either rub the bar of soap or apply a layer of shampoo and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Try the Orange and White bottle of Hunters wash you can get at Walmart. Dish Detergent or Shampoo or Bar Soap.

Bar soap and shampoo are designed to get rid of body oils therefore it does work on light and fresh grease stains. Rub your soap or shampoo completely into the stain using the toothbrush for a deeper scrub.
